A visit to the head department of forensic medicine and medical  law of the state University of St.Petersburg Professor O.D.Yagmurov and Professor V.L.Popov in TMA

 

As part of the broad participation of leading medical specialists in the educational process of the Tashkent medical Academy at the invitation of the department of forensic medicine and medical law of the Tashkent medical Academy from 21 to 26 October 2018 visited the leading experts in the field of forensic medicine of St.Petersburg-head of the Department of forensic medicine and medical law of the first St. Petersburg state medical University which named Pavlov, Professor O.D.Yagmurov  head of the Department of public law of Admiral’s state marine and river naval University which named S.O.Makarov, Professor V.L.Popov.

During the visit a lecture on “Nonviolent child mortality“, “SIDS“, “Forensic examination of road traffic accident” and other topics, as well as a master class on “Immunohistochemical studies in modern forensic medicine” was held.

During the event, a mobile master class was held with professors and teachers of the Department of forensic medicine and medical law, methodological support, training and

exchange of experience in the educational process on the topic “Damage to vehicles” in the Fergana branch of TMA. They also agreed to prepare a textbook on forensic medicine and send employees of the Department to the first St.Petersburg state medical University which named I.Pavlova.

The visit of Professor O.D.Yagmurov and V.L.Popov to TMA in 2018 was carried out on the basis of the approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan “plan of visits of leading experts of foreign clinics of medical institutions and medical consultations and educational activities for the implementation of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2018”.

 

This visit allowed to get acquainted with foreign scientific and practical achievements in the field of forensic medicine and medical law and improve the skills of students and teachers.

TMA  continues its efforts to engage leading health professionals to coordinate joint training programmes.
